Over the next few years - will you buy a used car from the Northeast? Be very careful. Every car that gets covered by insurance should have to be certified as destroyed. And even that would not be a perfect solution. At least Florida was spared so far this year.by Rev Dennis - Main Forum
In every class action lawsuit I have seen the lawyers get rich to the tune of million$$ and the harmed people get 25 cents each and the opportunity to buy another one at a discount. I would rather listen to rap music than be a part of a class action lawsuit.Such BS.by Rev Dennis - Main Forum
Very nice Dave. Good luck with it. There was a time I needed a convertible. As I get older that has faded. Must be a recurring theme.by Rev Dennis - Main Forum
Sounds like alignment time. Original NSXs had 1 degree of + toe in the rear wheels to give it a 1 G lateral acceleration number. As a result the cars wore out sticky tires in the rear at 4K miles. Few people know that Lotus Europa's had a 1G plus rating for latral acceleration back in the 70's. 1500 lbs. 185 tires. I had one. It was like skiing. Fantastic.by Rev Dennis - Main Forum
Just talked to Rick in Md. He is ready. How about you? Next weekend he is on call, the next few are good, but the sooner the warmer. Any interest?Meet at BK in Elkton and run to Waterman's or whatever is collectively chosen. Sun 10/7? Sun 10/14? We will keep it "just us" this time, if you know what I mean.by Rev Dennis - Main Forum
I heard those kits ruin the TPMS if you don't get to them quickly. I carry a compressor and a plug repair kit. Takes less than 5 minutes to fix a flat. Haven't needed it for years but I needed it twice on two cars a few years ago. And YES I KNOW IT WILL EVENTUALLY HAVE TO BE PROPERLY REPAIRED.by Rev Dennis - Main Forum
Eye opening I cannot equate this to Pedro's incident. I don't know a lot about it , actually. But I thought I would share something from another Porsche Board I frequent, and I guess a few other from here do also . I am amazed he survived. I am amazed at the support. I remember a similar experience back in 2003 that PPBB and ESBB helped me through. It is the people.by Rev Dennis - Main Forum
This whole thing was already in process before the interest was expressed to make it a good old boys 10th anniversary. So sorry to have kind of spoiled that. But it was GREAT for 7 of us oldies to get together again I though. Next time just us. We had 11 cars and 20 people. A lot of newbies from another board I now check in on. Good day. Good people. What else is there? Oh, yeah, fun cars tooby Rev Dennis - Main Forum
Hey Todd, Before that I left you drive both cars. The 911 then the Boxster. You showed up on your motorcycle in you racing suit.by Rev Dennis - Main Forum

"I'm definitely planning to attend next year's BRBS event." That should be the goal for all the "good old boys and gals". Let's see if we can round them all up for next year. I have a 2007 Shelby GT/SC now as a toy. It is my garage queen, and my most favorite toy ever so it won't be there, but I will in my 2012 Fiat 500 Lounge. See you next year then Mon! One note on next Sunday....6/24 - 11 Aby Rev Dennis - Main Forum
Hey Rick, I see you are still going tom BRBS. maybe I'll make it next year.by Rev Dennis - Main Forum
Rick in MD texted me that he is hoping to make it also. We then would have 3 of the 4 original ESBBers. Cool! What ever happened to Dan Thorpe, the 4th original? I am really looking forward to seeing you guys again. As always newbies are welcome. You'll only feel like a newbie for about 30 seconds, we are a friendly bunch.by Rev Dennis - Main Forum
pelicanparts.com is a good 911 site also.by Rev Dennis - Main Forum
Meet at The Burger king in Elkton at 11 AM Sun 6/24. Run down to Watermans in Rock Hall for lunch. Then whatever. Just like the old days mon! If this works please respond. You don't need a Boxster or a Porsche. Enthusiasm reigns supreme. rmimbs says he will be joining us.by Rev Dennis - Main Forum
Ya Mon...me olde buddy Eric in Dallas! How you doing Mon?by Rev Dennis - Main Forum
I pop in from time to time. I would be interested in an ESBB run also. It used to work where we planned them on the Thursday before so we knew what the weather was going to be like. A trip to Waterman's sounds like a good idea. Now that it's summer let work on this. Maybe the weekend after father's day? And if Todd is going to be on his boat he can hook up down there if that suits him. Rich you cby Rev Dennis - Main Forum
Everyone one knows it's going to rain tomorrow anyway, right?by Rev Dennis - Main Forum
It is UGLY like all recent Acuras. That nose job they give them now is HORRIBLE!by Rev Dennis - Main Forum
We'll wait for you Todd.by Rev Dennis - Main Forum
From the other Dennis's "only friend", Merry Christmas to all. Maybe we can make it to a future BRBS and remember all those good times again. The Boxster Bar. And the locals and do a Waterman's run soon. May The Great Spirit Look Down Kindly Upon Us All. Out of respect for the native Americans who were here first. They must have known something to exist for 14,000 years until the white man came aby Rev Dennis - Main Forum
Like an old penny that keeps coming back, I check in now and then. The other Dennis and I now have cars that don't leak or blow up. At least they haven't yet! He has a very nice Bullitt...... I have a 2010 V6 Mustang as a daily driver...... And a 2008 Shelby GT500 as a toy...... No... it does not corner like a Porsche, but damn it goes like hell when you push the pedal!!!!!!by Rev Dennis - Main Forum
tire pressures? Maybe it was due to oil left on the track by another leaking Porsche! Sorry folks....just had to get that in.....by Rev Dennis - Main Forum
I am planning on going at this time, and will be camped out in turn 10, right near where the PCA tent usually is. Hope to see some of you. Can't believe my old track buddy jg is not going to make it. Who is going to help me get my wine up the hill?by Rev Dennis - Main Forum
