Registration opened today. We have a spot reserved for Marylynn's Row. We went last year and had a great time during this laid-back drive-in.by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Events
QuoteMy car has a dealer applied treatment called Crystal Fusion From a vision standpoint, this makes A LOT more sense than a physical coating to a front windshield I would think that such a coating would cause visual distortion, especially at nite when headlights shine thru it. I may check into Crystal Fusion. Laz, how much did you get charged for it? QuoteRain-X is still the one effectiveby KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
The PCA Northern Ohio Chapter comprises 650-members and is pretty active. Several times a year they sponsor Tech Sessions on different topics. Yesterday, I attended one at Stoddard's Auto Parts in Highlands Hgts, Ohio about the upcoming Porsche Parade. The Session was aimed at those people (like me), whom had never before attended a Parade. The Session lasted 2-hours and included several handoutsby KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
Last year, we were delegated to the MC lodge until a few weeks before the event, when I noticed the number of cars attending dropped substantially. It was a simple matter to get upgraded to the main lodge. This year, we will be in the same room as last year.by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
Great looking car. You were smart to use Zainos. Red is one of the color that it really look good with.by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
QuoteWhy, hardly anyone in FL knows how to drive anyway. Don't you mean: hardly anyone in Florida bothers to get a driver's license? I know it's true for the State of Cleveland.by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
I don't know what a good time is for the course, but it looked like a good run to my uneducated eyes. I was not happy to see that *almost* collision at the 6-minute mark. On a similar note, when I was at P2O last year, I saw a couple cars with the Nurburgring decal on them. Does this mean that the car and/or driver has been on the course?by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
QuoteYou can do a Google search Porsche PPI in your area, you can ask your local PCA Club for a recommendation When I was researching my first purchase, I contacted the PCA leadership in the region the car I was interested in was located. He had a member close to the dealership take a look at the car, and drove it, then contacted me. You should be able to do the same thing. Check the PCA regionby KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
I wonder how much traction she gets from those high-heels?by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
Excellent video that brings back memories of the fun we had. Bev and I are looking forward to this year's event. I hope Karl gets the site updated soon.by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum

QuoteIf some one does not know what kind of car I am driving, then they probably don't care. I have a different opinion. Many people, especially the young (<40) like a nice car and are interested in seeing Porsches because of their cache. But since they don't own one, their interest is superficial and knowledge of what the various models are is absent. Porsches are rare birds in my area, eveby KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
QuoteI have found the same thing - waving is more effective than a flash. And I also think this is due to owners unknowledgable about historic customs. Yes. Flashing your lights is way too confusing to other drivers. It can mean, 'Hello". But it can also mean, 'Police ahead', 'accident ahead', or 'be careful as you are approaching something nasty'. Waving is always friendlier and never confusinby KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
Received last year from the event coordinators: BRBS 2013 - May 29-June 2, 2013 Congratulations, once again, to King Claro and Queen Kathleen, two very deserving people. Here's some information you'll find helpful during their reign: Lodging - As you may have heard, we finalized our arrangements with Switzerland Inn and are pleased to report that the Inn will be our main site for BRBS 2013.by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum

It's the same with my '09S: difficult to toot anyone.by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
My PS/2s are very sticky on both dry and wet pavement. Although pricey, I would not switch to anything else unless the replacement tires were just as good and lots less expensive. Now if Sumitomo sold 19" tires that were as good...by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
To those who have made a study of this problem, so you see Porsche doing something in next year's or later's model years to fix it?by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
No kidding. Come on, March!by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
I need to apply for time off for the BRBS. It was announced last year that there would be a pre-BRBS event involving a tour of the Biltmore mansion. The BRBS site has Wednesday the 29th as being the day the BRBS begins. Could anyone tell me if the Biltmore tour is on the 29th, or the day before?by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Blue Ridge Boxster Summit (BRBS)
But it would look even better with the top down.by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
Thanx to all for their input. I checked the battery and it was low. I added water and put the charger back on it, but the charger still didn't show that the battery was taking a charge, even after 24-hours of use. Soooo, I disconnected the ground and hope that it won't completely die over the winter. Next Spring, I will re-connect the ground and battery charger and get it running. I will then driby KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
I DO remember being in that picture, but for some reason, I prefer Gary's contribution.by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
Mike: I got your email, thanx. I will get that battery. To all: My only concern with replacing the battery is what do I need to do to get the car running again after doing so. I probably need to program the radio; will have to check to make sure the code is written down, and to figure out how to re-program it. Are there any other concerns?by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum
