Registration opened today. We have a spot reserved for Marylynn's Row. We went last year and had a great time during this laid-back drive-in.

PCA NOR Tech Session: Porsche Parade 2013 - 11 years ago

The PCA Northern Ohio Chapter comprises 650-members and is pretty active. Several times a year they sponsor Tech Sessions on different topics. Yesterday, I attended one at Stoddard's Auto Parts in Highlands Hgts, Ohio about the upcoming Porsche Parade. The Session was aimed at those people (like me), whom had never before attended a Parade. The Session lasted 2-hours and included several handouts

Last year, we were delegated to the MC lodge until a few weeks before the event, when I noticed the number of cars attending dropped substantially. It was a simple matter to get upgraded to the main lodge. This year, we will be in the same room as last year.

I don't know what a good time is for the course, but it looked like a good run to my uneducated eyes. I was not happy to see that *almost* collision at the 6-minute mark. On a similar note, when I was at P2O last year, I saw a couple cars with the Nurburgring decal on them. Does this mean that the car and/or driver has been on the course?

My PS/2s are very sticky on both dry and wet pavement. Although pricey, I would not switch to anything else unless the replacement tires were just as good and lots less expensive. Now if Sumitomo sold 19" tires that were as good...

Biltmore Tour Date? - 11 years ago

I need to apply for time off for the BRBS. It was announced last year that there would be a pre-BRBS event involving a tour of the Biltmore mansion. The BRBS site has Wednesday the 29th as being the day the BRBS begins. Could anyone tell me if the Biltmore tour is on the 29th, or the day before?

Thanx to all for their input. I checked the battery and it was low. I added water and put the charger back on it, but the charger still didn't show that the battery was taking a charge, even after 24-hours of use. Soooo, I disconnected the ground and hope that it won't completely die over the winter. Next Spring, I will re-connect the ground and battery charger and get it running. I will then dri

Mike: I got your email, thanx. I will get that battery. To all: My only concern with replacing the battery is what do I need to do to get the car running again after doing so. I probably need to program the radio; will have to check to make sure the code is written down, and to figure out how to re-program it. Are there any other concerns?
