Same here. Firefox 4 on OpenSUSE 11.2 linux. Seems to work great.by Dave In MD - Board suggestions
and found a Bettie Page sticker on fleabay. Weird. Just sayin'. Of course, "on the Internet, nobody knows you're a dog" is my favorite search term.by Dave In MD - Main Forum
They are fun cars! And, that's an interesting and sad experience you posted about. To be honest, I don't believe I've ever heard of a Boxster burning in that way, but these things do happen on occasion to all cars. As with any Internet site, there's a lot of good information and some of dubious origin. It helps to have a pessimistic view of the posters intent until more facts are known.by Dave In MD - Main Forum
Or this one, topless on a sunny day autocross (trying keep with Pedro's theme):by Dave In MD - Main Forum
Not topless, but a sunny day at VIR last year. Back next Thursday for 3 days of fun!by Dave In MD - Main Forum
Gary, I bought my Boxster from one of the dealers down there. They swapped mine before they tried to sell me the car. I asked for the factory option list and made them put the originals back.by Dave In MD - Main Forum
and I'm with ya! Definitely got cabin fever. Spent part of my off day yesterday looking at maps of the Little Switzerland, NC area trying to see if I could extend BRBS a few days and do something in the WARM! Even made plans to get the car to the shop next Monday to have it looked at before the DE at VIR. It'll be the first time out of the garage since the first of November. Wait, I have an 03 with the redesigned cup holder. I probably have to split the dash to install this upgrade.by Dave In MD - Main Forum
Great pics of the event Pedro. Thanks for posting. Saw that blue car at Daytona. They had a great race! Just wish Sebring was a bit closer to me.by Dave In MD - Main Forum
I noticed the wheels too and don't care for them. Maybe there's an expensive option for better ones... Here's an article from the Chattanooga paper this morning. Timely.by Dave In MD - Main Forum
I was in TN near the plant this past weekend. The hotel we were in was full of folks from Germany many wearing VW logo clothing. The plant just started production within the last week or so and the first car to be built there is the 2012 Passat which has been redesigned to compete with Camry and Accords. Here's an article on the car at Road and Track: It's a HUGH new plant. You've got toby Dave In MD - Main Forum
Interesting that VW just opened a plant in Tennessee. The first car built there is the 2012 VW Passat which rolled the first one off the assembly line just in the last week or so. There's been mention in the local paper there that they may build Audi and Porsche models. The quote from the US VW CEO in the artilce: ...reducing the exposure to currency fluctuations and significantly reducing trby Dave In MD - Main Forum

I had the same problem with mine after the front bumper cover was replaced last summer. I adjusted the hood latch to get rid of it. There are only a couple of bolts holding the latch in place. Use a pencil to mark the bolt locations before you loosen and make small adjustments. You may also need to adjust the rubber bumpers on the hood by turning them. It's a little tedious making sure youby Dave In MD - Main Forum
at about 1:50, there is a shot of the back of the top. This looks like other 2012 model shots I've seen. You'll notice that the clam shell cover used in the current models is missing. Seems to be a soft top though.by Dave In MD - Main Forum
course. Nice orange hat. Sebring Porscheplatz parade laps before the 2010 12HR race.by Dave In MD - Main Forum
Don't think I'm one of the RV set, but I've enjoyed cruising the parkway with the BRBS crowd. The 45 speed limit always seems like a suggestion. Personally, I'd have gone to this place or this one and, I think I would have driven by North Wilkesboro to this place It is my favorite trackby Dave In MD - Main Forum
I've had my Driod 2 Global (Verizon) for about a month. Love it. And being a Blackberry user, the slide out keyboard is much better than the touch keypad. Where I live the AT&T coverage is terrible so the iPhone wasn't really an option. But while I like the Apple products such as Mac and iPads, Apple's app lock-in is not something I agree with. I asked Santa for a new watch for DE, he brought me two: For the wrist, a cheap timex with large numbers so I can see it with these old, tired eyes: and, for the car, Track Master software for my new Droid phone: Ready for the first DE of the spring!by Dave In MD - Main Forum
I used denatured alcohol on mine with a lot of elbow grease. Or, you can buy stickers that cover them up (check fleabay). Or, you can find European visor covers without the stickers (check Suncoast Porsche parts).by Dave In MD - Main Forum
I think my wife would be upset if I added that one... but I would change number 4 to: 4 new wheels and tires for the track (just bought them!)by Dave In MD - Main Forum
same here with the energy. I'm with Red on the "stomp the gas and take me to jail music". If I want to drive slow, I'll take the wife's SUV.by Dave In MD - Main Forum
I actually posted this to a query earlier in the week. Porsche sticker on the spoiler that provides either down force or reduced lift. Photo on the Blue Ridge Parkway from BRBS last year. Now if that GT3 in front of me would just get out of the way...by Dave In MD - Main Forum
