Sorry, I can’t help you with your top problem, but welcome back! Have you checked out the below article on top repair? #by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
QuoteLaz ... don't get too hung up on chips, (although they seem to show up right in the driver's line of sight!) The more you drive, the more the "real" world will throw stuff at you. It's a metaphor for life, I think. Hey, my 13 Boxster S will hit 77,777 miles later today, and it's been truly wonderful driving it all over the US: NY to California, Oregon, Idaho, the Dakotas, to... Thanks Laz!by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
QuoteGary in SoFL Strange looking Boxster Have a blast... Close enough! Thanks G!by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Hey Guenter! That was a pic from last week. Today was nice out! Glad you took your car out too!by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Lol, yes...thanks for reminding me I got a rock chip that day we went driving, but I’m over it. Today was a great day!!...by CarreraLicious - Main Forum

QuoteBoxsterra you'll have to get a "turbo" Lol!by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Maybe Porsche still has a way to go before catching up with Tesla. I thought maybe the superchargers would make my car even faster, so we went for a charge, but no bueno!by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Maybe they add an artificial turbo whoosh sound feature inside the car!by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
How about posting it in the right section of this forum?by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
It’s really cool that Porsche is still making these type of cars for driving enthusiasts instead of the paddle shifter only models that other sports car makers offer. Looking forward to the review of yours when you take delivery.by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Yeah...Porsche doesn’t sell the replacement levers themselves, but there are companies that make aftermarket replacements that hold up better than the original buttons (supposedly). I got mine from Climarepair, but I know MACarbon also sells them.by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Must have some pretty strong stuff in that sunscreen to do this to these buttons! They put paint stripper in there or something? Had to replace them. Beats buying a whole new unit for $750 though!by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Permagrin here for 911s too!by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Thanks...I’ve only put a thousand miles on it since getting it back in Feb, so yeah, I need to drive her more instead of taking pics. Lol.by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
I had 74k I think on my Boxster when I sold it, but that was after 17 yrs!by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Ok, sorry...it’s not a Boxster, but it is Porsche content. Took this pic of my car at my dealership... Then, at the suggestion of a very good friend who also owns a Boxster, told me to turn it into poster...so I blew it up and made this to hang in my garage. What do ya think? Anyone else have Porsche pics hung up in their garage? I think I like it, so this one may be up next...by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Lol...that would be nice, but no gas savings when the loud pedal is being used so much!by CarreraLicious - Main Forum

Got a twin Carrera S Cab for Father’s Day. They must think I’m obsessed with my car or sonething. Happy Father’s Day all!by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
I have a spare cause people always said these fail. Never had a problem with my original switch that was still fine after 18 yrs. Go figure.by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
I don’t think it matters much what brand you pick as long as you use it. Having the Boxster for 17 yrs and now the 911 Cab, I’ve had to get moles cut out by my dermatologist to check for skin cancer and that’s not fun!by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
