Very nice. Glad you got to enjoy the nice sunny day. I haven’t had a sunny weekend here in my part of NJ for several weeks, which is why all my pics are under overcast.by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Haven’t seen these done in a while. Got a pic or two of your car to share?...by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Reverse and Forward? QuoteBoxsterra but it won't be very interesting since there are only two gearsby CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Does this end up warping the rotors?by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
I think it is a classic. I still can’t believe I kept my Boxster for 17 yrs before I sold it. I’ve never kept any car that long. Was really a fun car. My first Pcar was an 86 944. That thing only had like 147hp, but was also a pleasure to drive.by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
All while impressing the gas attendants at the pump! In NJ, we don’t even pump our own gas. Lol. QuoteGuenter in Ontario In addition, silver paint on cap is 0.00000000013453 oz lighter than black paint. That should save you a good solid cup of gas over only 1,000,000 mi.by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Haha, hate to break it to ya, but this cap is still plastic, and not metal. It’s just painted to look like it’s aluminum! I am not that upset about it cause 1) it was a gift to me by a good friend, and 2) it saves weight over metal, so that def adds HP! Lol. QuoteBLKBOXS I have been told that the fuel cap change increase your HP by 5 and More: 1 ) The plastic cap causes a dissimilar metalby CarreraLicious - Main Forum

QuoteBoxsterra I used to jack up my car and lower it onto Rhino Ramps to avoid hassle. In the end, platforms like those would have been better as the long ramps can interfere with jack stand placement. Yes! I wish I saw these before! Much easier than trying to back onto the ramps and also would’ve saved me having to bother Maurice in LI with repainting my side skirts which were damaged by theby CarreraLicious - Main Forum
I stupidly backed over my rhino ramps once in my old Boxster. After that fun episode, I said no more. Got these cradles instead so that I can just use the existing jacking points on my car to rest the wheels onto them for oil changes. They are stackable too, if you need more height.by CarreraLicious - Main Forum

Quote986rgt Would be good to see the gang again. -Steve Hey Steve, will do! In fact, it looks like Gundo’s fixing to do another TSBL in May! Do you still have the 986rgt? I am running a little different rig now...by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Glad you are able to get the car out to play again. Hopefully all the snow will be gone soon. Your car looks super clean, and I love those wheels. I cleaned the interior of the car yesterday and even that was fun. Well...drove her too of course. So looking forward to the warmer weather...by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Was a nice day out here in the Northeast yesterday. Great to have met up with a few of my Porsche pals...by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Quotejlegelis Congrats, but do keep an eye out for 'bore scoring' on these cars, which seems to incite equivalent paranoia as compared with the Boxster IMSB. Knowledge is power... see article in Feb 19 Pano for those who are PCA members: Yes, thanks! I’ve read a lot about this as well, but I’m gonna just use the car as it was intended and if signs show up one day, so be it. I have budgeteby CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Took the car to get ice cream last weekend and the 3 of us fit nicely...this even with the top up. Fun times!by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
QuoteEd fromTampa ( formerly Long Island) Rich, My granddaughter is SO much cuter, besides, my son will probably get to "babysit" the car for a bit till she's old enough to drive. As you found out, the Boxster isn't the best of family cars! Makes sense! In the meantime, keep enjoying your car bud!by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
QuoteEd fromTampa ( formerly Long Island) Haven't posted for a while, but need to congratulate you on your new car - enjoy it! Me, I plan on keeping my 05 till I pass it on to my Granddaughter, when she can drive - she just turned 6 weeks old. Send my regards to the NJ/NY clan. Hey Thanks Ed!! You can pass your Cobalt beauty to your son first. Btw, the first 997s cab I looked at was this onby CarreraLicious - Main Forum
There’s a micro switch in the handbrake that detects if it is pulled up, as the top will only move when the parking brake is pulled up at least a notch. If that microswitch goes bad, even when you pull up on the handbrake, it will think it is not pulled up and then the top will not operate. I would check that first to see if when you pull the brake up, if the handbrake light on the dash comes oby CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Quotebabamoto Aww, but congratulations on that beautiful Carrera Sssssssssssss! You must be about 36ish now? Happy Trails, Babamoto Much thanks Baba! The car certainly has me feeling that young again!by CarreraLicious - Main Forum

QuoteBruce In Philly (2000 S Boxster, now '09 C2S) Nice car.... I did a Boxster to 2009 C2S...... I like the more power of the 911 but the Boxster was way more fun, lighter, better handling,.... just a better sports car IMO. Peace Bruce in Philly Sounds like you should switch back to a newer Boxster then! I so far like the more solid feel of the 997, and the extra power, but haven’t takenby CarreraLicious - Main Forum
