QuotePedro (Weston, FL) ... she can't get married until we approve of "the dude". So, Mer, bring him over to Little Switzerland. Happy Boxstering, Pedro Hey, I didn't think that there was any choice. Once you're part of the BRBS family, all important decisions have to be run by the "family". So. Got a room booked at LS, Mer?by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
gotta admit, this is one beauty that looks best with her new clothes on. Looking forward to meeting you in LS.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
on your engagement. Sounds like you're getting that itch to get back into a Porsche, specially being with a Porsche guy. Sounds like a good choice to me. Looking forward to seeing you back with a Porsche.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum

Sorry you won't be joining the Can-Am caravan this year ....but on the bright side, the members of a caravan will know that, with your early arrival, there'll be a round of beers ready and waiting when we arrive.by Guenter in Ontario - Blue Ridge Boxster Summit (BRBS)

QuoteWayne Coming up from Louisiana, will be there Wednesday also. Waiting for the up date on the BRBS site for caravan info. If you click on the Caravan Planner, you can post your planned route. That way other people along your route can joint in. That's how the Can-Am Caravan got started a few years ago. See you in 23 days.by Guenter in Ontario - Blue Ridge Boxster Summit (BRBS)
The Can-Am caravan (cars from Ontario, Ohio, Pennsilvania and maybe Quebec?) will be arriving Wednesday late afternoon, early evening. Only 23 days to go. Not that I'm keeping track or anything. I think there's a Boxster Beer or two waiting for me at the Boxster Bar.by Guenter in Ontario - Blue Ridge Boxster Summit (BRBS)
Wow! Life doesn't get much better than that. Boxsters, curves, sunshine and view of mountains and the ocean. Great pick.by Guenter in Ontario - Photo / Quote of the Month
At one on the stops we made along that terrific stetch of PCH, We had a red Mustang convertible pull in. The driver came over and in a heavy German accent asked me if it would be OK to take a picture of the CURVEN8R. No problem I said, but asked him why. He told me he had a Boxster just like mine back in Germany. They had flown into Vegas, rented the Mustang and were driving the PCH to LA and theby Guenter in Ontario - Photo / Quote of the Month
Thanks. That sure brings back GREAT memories. What a terrific, scenic road that is. There's just no better way to see that road than in a Boxster.by Guenter in Ontario - Photo / Quote of the Month

think alike. QuoteRoger987 The June edition of Excellence has the answer for you - the new Cayman R. They love it. Sell the Boxster and the 911. Buy the Cayman R. You'll have handling, power, reliability, fuel economy and reduced insurance rates, all wrapped up in a package you already KNOW you love. Roger, Marc. Isn't it great to be out enjoying green grass and trees? Looks like the vinyards out your way are well ahead of the ones in the Niagara region. Nice to see that sunshine. We got about one and a half days of it and now back to rain.by Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
Quotejwdbox Looks like a great time was had by all (though perhaps a bit nippy?). As for being "ahead of time", wouldn't your Boxsters have to be on the other side of the Ontario Hydro Floral Clock? Thanks for posting. Well, we were parked in front of the clock. The temperature did get into the 60's with a bit of a breeze. Not bad considering the weather we've had this "Spring". This weekend, we had the first ever BALE (Boxsters Around Lake Erie) weekend. We started with about 7 cars, but a few people were unable to attend. In the end, we had a Targa 4S from PA, Boxster S from Ohio, Boxster and Boxster S from Ontario. Again, we lucked out with the weather. Mid 60's and sunny on Saturday and sunny to start on Sunday. Lot's of damage to be seen from high winds on Wednesdayby Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
Quotegrant You yourself said that you mostly do short trips and this was your first extended "hot" trip. Over many trips, accumulated water and fuel is added to the oil, does nto burn/boil off, and replaces the slowly used oil. So when you go out and get the oil > 212 deg for a long period, it suddenly vanishes. What actually vanishes is sometimes the contaminants. Grant I believe he lostby Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum

Sitting in heavy traffic, not sure how many lanes wide, it might have been possibly coming from a neighbouring car or even one behind you. Smoke could come drifting from another car and appear to be coming from the side of yours (since you said it appeared to be coming from your car. Maybe that's why it subsided when you started moving again. I know that on occasion, that's happened to me, whereby Guenter in Ontario - Main Forum
