I found the pic, it was a Top Flight Driver, not a Titleist, but I don't think the brand is too criticalby BoxsterBob - San Carlos - Main Forum
This was the screw driver I started with to build my "Titleist Driver" ...by BoxsterBob - San Carlos - Main Forum
Contortionist skills are definitely put to the test. My biggest problem was finding the right screw driver. The handles on jeweler's type (needed for the tiny mounting screws) are too small to get enough grip to loosen/tighten the screws. After a few trips to Home Depot, and other tool stores, I gave up and made one myself. I bought a screw driver with multiple bits, took an old golf ball and driby BoxsterBob - San Carlos - Main Forum
I had a similar situation when doing a rebuild on my '66 Bug way back when, I had to drop the engine so many times I could do it in less than 15 minutes with a floor jack in my driveway. I used to joke about installing velcro to speed the process even further. Let's hope this is the last hiccup on your project.by BoxsterBob - San Carlos - Main Forum
As my calipers aged, they developed a flat black look and I didn't like it. I went with the G2 Caliper Paint kit. I think gloss black calipers are very subtle and would be a good fit on a black car. For me, it was AOS at 75k, reservoir tank at 85k and waterpump at 90k.by BoxsterBob - San Carlos - Main Forum
I had a similar situation, drive to the store and park, return to the car and the car would crank but not start. I let it sit for 30 minutes and it would start fine. I replaced the sensor - 986.606.112.02 (mine is a 1999) - Porsche Flywheel Reference Mark Sensor, not to be mistaken with the Camshaft Sensors. I bought the part from Vertex Auto for $109 and since replacing it, I have haven't seen tby BoxsterBob - San Carlos - Main Forum
I had P0306 about a year ago (at ~90k miles) , I replaced the coil on Cyl. 6 and a few weeks later got P0302, so I decided to go ahead and replace the rest. At $49 each from Pelican Parts and really no more effort than a plug change, I liked the idea of $250 peace of mind. If I was paying dealer rates I might think twice and buy as they go.by BoxsterBob - San Carlos - Main Forum
