That was a nice surprise this morning. Ice here in Atlanta. The drive was fun!by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
When you say "Match revs when you can", what do you mean? I generally keep it between 2000-3000 - explain! Thanks!by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
I have not yet put the top down! Been too cold. Can't wait!by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
So agree! I turn down the radio to listen to the engine. Never did this before! There's something about the 2010 that turns me on.by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
There are some tips I remember from way back, but wondered if there are any more. 1) Keep your foot away from the clutch unless you're actually using it - no need to hover and put any additional weight at all when not in use 2) Keep your hand off the shifter unless you're actually using it (we had lots of discussions of that on ppbb as I recall) ? Any other obvious ones? I don't want to take aby Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
They now offer 3rd party coverage (allstate?) that includes tire replacement, ding repair, wheel repair and lots of other stuff. I may never use it, but it seemed like a good value, considering what I've needed in the past. My husband, who is super-conservative when it comes to spending, thought it was worth it as well. I bought the 3-year package. I'll dig up the paperwork and see what else it iby Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
I forgot what it was like to be so close to the road, so low to the ground. I practically fell into it for my test drive! As for comparison to the previous Boxsters and Cayman S, this one, a 987.2?, seems more powerful than any that I've driven, if that is possible (of course it is less powerful than the S). It could be because it has been a few years. It strikes me as louder? Perhaps for the saby Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum

Looks like you have quadruple black with those wheels! Thanks for the info. My commute is from downtown Altanta (Inman Park) up through the connector and North on 75 to Mt. Paran Rd. Cannot complain! I worked in Alpharetta for a while - it was pure hell!by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
You just went from my "FRIEND" list to my "JEALOUS" list lol.... see you at BRBS! Can't wait!!!!by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
I gave serious thought to doing the Cayman again - I loved that car. But there's just something about the Boxster that I couldn't resist. I just went out and played with itby Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum

It's the one I was hoping for. 2010 Base model - Black with black top and sand beige interior. The interior is in good condition - minor "scratching" around the inside driver handle, but not enough to bother me. Otherwise, it's been very taken care of by its one previous owner. CPO, it has brand new tires and is very much like new. I've ordered new mats just to have something "new" - the currentby Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
Thanks for the info, Steve - we're definitely going to ask about the fuel pump fix based on a couple of remarks here. I hadn't realized that there was even a distinguishing factor within the 987 models (.1 vs .2) - great to know. I'm looking forward to getting schooled again here!by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum

I really doubt I'll be able to sleep. I am more excited about this than any other of the others before. I've REALLY missed driving one. I even get excited about the idea of the ignition being on the left! So many things!by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
Black body and top, sand beige interior. CPO - warranty good through April of 2016. It has lots of extras but not too much. It's beautiful! I will be test driving it tomorrow morning. I'm so freaking excited!!!!!by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
