Ha! A co-worker saw my patch job today and we were laughing because he said I should just do the patch side on the other side to make it look like that's how it was designed. Heh.by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
Sorry if this has been posted before, but I learned today that the new PCNA headquarters/office park/track is going to involve, at some level, the local architect firm, Cooper Carry. I don't know to what extent they will be involved, but I was so excited to hear it. Does anyone remember Kevin C. from Atlanta from the early-mid 2000's on PPBB? He heads Cooper Carry! Many of us have met him and he'by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
Having reported on numerous issues in the past with Boxsters and my Cayman S, I will say, it doesn't get better with other cars. I parked my Volvo C30 at work the other day, Wednesday, and when I returned to the car at 3pm, found the rear drivers-side lip above the wheel/tire on the ground, along with some scratches. Obviously someone did a "park and run". On Monday I will see if they have any taby Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
What a great thread! So many good memories! I still hear from Skyler via Facebook... he got his law degree and passed the bar. I also hear from Howard and Joanne in OC... made so many friends here. I can't pass any Porsche without feeling a little twinge - it's going to happen again, just not sure when!!by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
Hey! How are you, Merlin? I have discovered a love for guns as well... revolvers in particular. I hope you are well !!!by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
I really miss you guys... and would love to do BRBS again! Please, a big HELLO to Candi! We will definitely talk about BRBS for 2012... Charley would really enjoy it and we could use some time in the mountains with friends!by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
Took a long and much-needed break from PPBB... and have missed y'all. Have also very much missed my Boxsters/Cayman S days... I am currently driving a Volvo C30 which, while "cute", has been nothing but a PITA! Break sensor failure (no accident, fortunately!), then in another non-accident incident, something hit the compressor causing the shredding of the serpentine belt..10 minutes before an intby Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
I was thinking about BRBS on and off throughout the weekend (Juliette's Facebook posts were very welcome, even though they made me feel a little sentimental ) I hope to get to a future BRBS - I miss this group of people immeasurably!by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
We've been doing so much traveling to meet the family we can't take any more time off! I will be thinking of you all though - I still consider the BRBS crowd family. He's a wonderful guy - I know you will all approve of him... wacky sense of humor... And for the record, he really likes sports cars and Porsches - he had a 911 several years ago. Right now he drives a Mini Cooper. We talk of gby Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
I know! This is killing me... I really want another Porsche and now THIS! My fiance works for Airtran and his job is moving... I am hoping he will see what opportunities there might be at this new facility... it would be right up his alley... he knows Porsches!by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
Cheeky passed away this weekend after a massive heart attack. He was a wonderful guy and great prolific BRBS'er. He will be greatly missed by us old-timers. Karl has provided some information about the arrangements: The viewing will be at Desmond Funeral Home in Troy, MI on Thursay from 2-6pm. The service will be at the funeral home on Friday at 11am. www.desmondfuneralhome.com. If anyoneby Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
That was some mess last week! The ABS light on my Volvo had lit up the day before the ice hit and I'm glad I brought the car to the dealer that day instead of waiting! I've been driving a loaner ever since. Being from the North, I'm used to snow, but never experienced ice like we had it here in Atlanta... treacherous! Glad it's gone!by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
I took the class at Barber Motorsports back in 2007 and Hurley was my instructor - there were other instructors for skidpad, autocross... but he was the guy for our group on the track. I have a great picture of him and me standing together in front of the 911's that we drove on the track. He was very gracious. One of my fondest memories!by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum

Mikel is a good friend of ours from PPBB and BRBS... he lost his younger brother today. Keep thinking about him.... sending warm thoughts.by Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
He lost his younger brother this weekend. Can't stop thinking about how much pain he is in... but ppbb was always a good place for sharing. Merby Meredith in Atlanta - Main Forum
