... your car's engine displaces 1,100 cc more than mine right? Also, I will not have the luxury (which you will) to walk and/or memorize the course. Thank you for acknowledging that I have skills and a real Porsche. Happy Porsche-ing, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
... I had been thinking about revamping my OEM TurboTwist 17" wheels which had a bunch of nicks and scrapes due to their rolling over 215,000 miles. So, last week I dismounted them, took the tires off, cleaned, prepped and painted the wheels in a darker color. This is the final result. I was trying to "match" the carbon fibre parts, more or less. I then took the center caps and hand-coby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum

... also damaged the drain plug have done so by (unknowingly) using a 5/16" Allen instead of an 8 mm hex wrench. The 5/16" wrench is just slight smaller than the 8 mm and when torque is applied it tends to slip. Make sure you haven't mixed up some Allen wrenches from an SAE and a Metric set. What you describe is the typical symptom of the bad regulator. Could the shard of glass be from the original window that was broken and replaced? Happy Boxstering Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
You may have had two problems, one of which has been corrected. The mechanism with the micro switch now works. You also have a bad window regulator. This is very common on older Boxsters and Carreras. Happy Boxstering Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum

If you decide to replace the printed circuit board, you'll need to purchase it from a dealer who will also provide de programming codes. You'll then need to have the car recoded to accept the new remote's RF signal. Happy Boxstering Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum
... more than just DME remapping. As I have discovered with the TechnoPower Kits, Porsche will include a larger throttle body and intake. They will probably have a sport-tuned exhaust, maybe headers, and an aggressive DME remap. Happy Boxstering Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum

... by our beloved manufacturer. The new Cayman is the most underpowered sports car by Porsche. Even the base Boxster beats it. Let me explain. The new Boxster has a displacement of 2.7 liters out of which they extract 265 HP. That's 98.1 HP/L,. which is decent. The 2013 Boxster S has the same displacement of 3.4 liters as the Carrera, yet they only extract 315 HP. That's a measly 92.6 HP/L.by Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum

Do you have a CEL? If so, what code? Check the hose that connects the AOS to the intake tee. It needs to be perfectly sealed. Check for any other air leak in the system. Happy Boxstering, Pedroby Pedro (Odessa, FL) - Main Forum

... on halogens just install the 55W H7 bulb which is the OEM. Going to a higher wattage will certainly harm your headlights from the inside out. Your other alternative is to upgrade to xenon bulbs which produce much brighter, white light at cooler temperatures therefore protecting the headlight. ... what you're mistaking for a "dim" headlight is probably your parking light. The H7 is most likely burnt out. To replace it you'll have to remove the headlight assembly using the tool provided (in the car's tool kit - behind the spare tire - in the front trunk).
