I attended. The author is right, using the launch control the acceleration is incredible.by DougW - Main Forum
it would personally drive me nuts, can't see the point and there must be additional wear and tear to the starter, battery etc. over time. I concur with your observation of the PDK it's great but I wonder if it would get boring after a while not being as involved in the driving process. I too found the seats to be really comfortable and would order the ventilated option. Still lots of road feel inby DougW - Main Forum
one of their testers was 81k, a couple of the Boxster S test units I drove stickered at 91k maybe that accounts for the premium on Canadian pricing...by DougW - Main Forum

If he did I think he'd be impressed, he would just have to order color to sample to get his Arctic Silver backby DougW - Main Forum
Yes that's what I thought when I saw it, I asked the Porsche Rep. and he confirmed that it was smaller. It didn't seem quite as deep and seemed a bit shorter from front to back. I have fit two golf carry bags in mine and don't think that would work in the new Boxster. Still much more room than some of the hard top cabs. out there.by DougW - Main Forum
Still thinking about the drive in your Cabby DougW - Main Forum
I had an opportunity to drive the new Boxster S yesterday through a slalom course and on a track. The event was a promotion sponsored by Porsche Canada and our local dealer in SW Ontario. There were 8 Boxster S's available (all PDK equipped). All Boxsters had PASM and Sport Plus, and 20" wheels. The steering through the slalom and on the track felt great. We were able to test the Launch Control aby DougW - Main Forum

held at a local track on May 29, can't wait. Hope they have some manual Boxsters as I've heard all the Boxsters provided for the dealer launch where PDKsby DougW - Main Forum
in March on my 2007 Boxster. One of the sensors wasn't working, the dealer checked the battery life and only one sensor was out of juice. They tried to disable the TPM but that wouldn't work. They said I would have to replace all 4 sensors, I said lets try just one (their expensive) and luckily they all synced up. I agree it is handy to check the pressure via the TPM but geez if I had the choiceby DougW - Main Forum
