For the radio, if the fuse is the problem, the fuse is behind the radio itself (to get to it, you have to pull out the radio). Mine blew once after my battery died and I had to put a jumper cable to my fuse panel to pop open my front trunk to get to the battery. It ended up popping the fuse behind the radio too. I'm not sure about what is causing your problem with the intermittent clock.by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Car makers seem to be trending to larger wheels as a fashion trend almost like large watches are in too.by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Probably was. I noticed a distinct difference between the drivers in NYC at these camera lights vs the folks in NJ where I live now. In NJ, when there's a yellow light, the driver just keeps going whereas the driver in NYC just stops hard at the yellow. Lolby CarreraLicious - Main Forum
...which means some small holes to repair, but no other damage, and we're all safe. Devastating storm though. Hope others are ok too.by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
I got hit with one of these tickets when I used to live in NYC. Got a ticket in the mail with a pic of my car in middle of the intersection. I could swear that the light was yellow, as I passed slowly in traffic (on west side highway), but guess not. No points on your license, as they can't prove it's you driving the car, but they get a nice $50 check. I'm not that against it, as once word spreaby CarreraLicious - Main Forum
I'm still on my original on my 01!by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
I heard that the xenon headlight theft in FL is pretty bad. You can pop/pry the Porsche headlights out with a screwdriver, whereas with other cars, you have to unscrew from the inside/behind the hood. I was hoping to read that the class action approved was for the IMS, however.by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
I have read that the latest version of the Fabspeed 986 exhaust sounds great and does not have resonance, but have no personal experience. Seen some guys on 986forum who claim this.by CarreraLicious - Main Forum

Why can't they just drill it out?...others have..by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
First did it when the Panamera came out. Ordered its lettering. It looks sweet. Congrats.by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Here are my current offsets on my SSR 18" wheels which I use with no spacers. I guess from that you can determine if they will fit. You will prob need spacers. Here are my specs: Fronts 18x8 ET49 Rears 18x9.5 ET43 5-130 bolt patternby CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Can't believe I've owned this for 10 yrs now...and no visit to Jake! Oil changes at 10k intervals (used to be 15k)...and mostly Mobil 1 even! Yep, my original IMS is still intact. Will be driving her to work this morning, and still loving it! Cheers all...by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Ah yes, I was thinking of the 3.2L engine in the Q5, not the 2.0t. Regardless, have fun with the SUV shopping. I'll email you separately, but basically, to install the OEM side skirts you'll need a side skirt hardware kit (a bunch of clips and screws that Sunset Porsche can source for you), and 3M double sided tape. Talk soon.by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Hi CK, good to see you on the board again! Not sure if it's not "high end" enough for you, but I got this Infiniti FX35 a few years ago to use as my daily and shopping hauler, and it's been great. Good power (the 3.5l from the 350z) and chassis is based off the Z car as well, so it's fun to drive. Best of all, it's Japanese car reliable and only costs me $39 for an oil change at the dealer (no nby CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Thx Steve. Your box is still looking great, and I love GT3 seats. Glad you're still enjoying yours.by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Haha. Thx Guenter...yep, no more worries of bumper damage from those valets in NYC, but now I gotta shovel snow in the winter to clear the driveway.by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
No water, but took this today...by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Thanks! They are 3-piece wheels made by SSR, and have gun metal colored centers with a polished lip. The model is called SSR GT-3, and they were made for Porsche specific applications, so no spacers needed. I then got the OEM Porsche centercaps painted to match the wheel centers by Eric at Bumperplugs.by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Just get a pair of used stock 17" wheels and mount winter tires on them. Throw them on in winter months, and then keep a set of summer rims/tires for the warmer months... This way, you won't have to keep going to a local tire store to mount/dismount your tires on the same set of wheels each season change. My stock 17"s on Hankook IceBears I got from Discount Tire... And my summer 18"s on Sumiby CarreraLicious - Main Forum
They replace it upon windshield replacement. I would just call your local Safelite, and ask them if you can have one of their guys replace just the molding if you paid them for it.by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
I just use a new factory drain plug at each oil change. Never had a prob with stripped threads or leaks.by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
If I recall correctly (and this was a long time ago), if you reinstall the spoiler frame in the down position instead of up, it will be realigned correctly. Just reinstall the spoiler in the lowered position, and when that's done raise the spoiler up and put the spoiler lid back on.by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
The torque spec is 37 Lb/ft. Glad it worked out for ya.by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
IIRC, the problem is that you have to be able to open the rear trunk lid to be able to access a couple of screws that secures the top of the rear bumper to the car. All other screws alongside the bumper are easily accessible. I'm not sure how you'll be able to fish out the cord, but since you know where it is located now, maybe you can undo all the other screws along the length of the bumper, takby CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Hey, That's a photo of my car!...I was at Gundo's that day throwing on my new muffler and took that pic. Memories of a fun day.by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Steve, if it's not acting up and you don't take it out for long road trips, I'd just leave it until symptoms occur. Mine happened to croak at 59k miles on my 01, but there was warning in the form of leakage. I even had just enough time to make it to the dealer and they replaced for me.by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Are you sure the shift linkage/cables are broken back there?... Most of what I read is that the cables pop out from their brackets that hold them in place, and that popping them back in solves the issue. Never heard of a cable severing.by CarreraLicious - Main Forum
Jay, it's funny cause as I was helping you wiggle out the old motor mount through those coolant lines, I remembered the dealer telling me that they had to charge me extra for removing/flushing the coolant when they did my motor mount because the coolant line was in the way. Yesterday proves that you don't have to remove the friggen coolant hose to get that motor mount off! Jack, I think next tiby CarreraLicious - Main Forum
