Does it look OEM? Do you have full access to the engine compartment?by boxsterd - Main Forum
What kind of top did you get? Was it from GAHH? Do you have full access to the engine compartment? I've been thinking about getting a new top, but with the glass rear window.by boxsterd - Main Forum
whoops....I'm getting mixed up with replacing AOS with RMS....I went in originally because the AOS failed, then they told me the RMS was bad...and THEN I had the clutch replaced and IMS bearing replaced. Nevermind!by boxsterd - Main Forum
Exactly. If you note he has an '08 Cayman S. Such critiques are more common from owners of the closest model to the new model. I wouldn't be surprised if didn't like the '09 Cayman S with improved engine either, lol.by boxsterd - Main Forum
But if I trust you, then that means I don't trust MarcW. Oh dear, what to do, what to do. Who do I trust? Help!by boxsterd - Main Forum
Yeah, using a paint thinner substitute sounds risky to me too. Is there anything special about Dawn? We use some other dishwashing liquid besides Dawn.by boxsterd - Main Forum
Can you please post a link to the product? I want to make sure I buy the right thing. Thanks!by boxsterd - Main Forum
Are you talking about the paint thinner replacement?!? Wouldn't it leave a whitish area on my grey top? Just to be sure, this is the stuff you're talking about correct...by boxsterd - Main Forum
I accidently got some WD-40, about 1" diamater, on the convertible soft top. Can anyone recommend any products/procedures for making it new again? TIA.by boxsterd - Main Forum

I would never trust a smart phone for my GPS needs. They only work when there's a cell phone signal. And the screen is too small.by boxsterd - Main Forum
Hmmm.....sounds too coincidental. I would go in there arguing they forgot to tighten something or messed something up.by boxsterd - Main Forum
I did that at the recommendation of my dealer, and got the ceramic bearings from LN Engineering. The dealer stocks this aftermarket part which I thought was interesting.by boxsterd - Main Forum
That's the best looking Ferrari I've seen: classic, yet modern, AND tasteful. I can't think of another Ferrari with all three of these qualities. The 458 is modern and tasteful, but not classic. BTW, I see Kobe Bryant $100k OVER MSRP for his new 458. LOL.by boxsterd - Main Forum
Anyone have any experience with ? Same tops as GAHH? Prices seem cheaper. Main question is whether the same issue with GAHH tops, some parts of engine compartment blocked, exists with these tops.by boxsterd - Main Forum
Be sure to visit the Pilsner Urquell brewery/restaurant. It was my favorite place to eat.by boxsterd - Main Forum

I had the Budvar when I was in Prague around 10 years ago. Lightest beer I've ever had. Like water. I liked it.by boxsterd - Main Forum

Did you remember to put the crush ring on the drain plug? I forgot to do this on my last oil change and now I have a slow leak around the plug, I'm guessing about 1/2 quart every 1,000 miles.by boxsterd - Main Forum
So how bad is it remove the rear spolier? I mean if it's two nuts that sounds easier than jacking up the rear and crawling underneath. Where's the drain plug? Does that require jacking up the car to remove?by boxsterd - Main Forum

Original clutch? How is that possible. What's your secret? I had mine replacted at 70k miles, and I drive like a granny.by boxsterd - Main Forum
How often/when(mileage) did you replace the clutch?by boxsterd - Main Forum
Consider yourself lucky if you got 9-10 years off the remote. I seem to have to change the remote head around every 2 years.by boxsterd - Main Forum
Kragen/O'Reily has a sale on Mobil1 @ $5.50/qt. I just picked up 10 quarts of 0W-40.by boxsterd - Main Forum
Hi, I have 2001. The perforated passenger side roll bar hoop cover as pictured rattles/vibrates when going over rough roads. If I take the cover off, no rattle/vibration. Is there some way to "tighten" the cover? TIA.by boxsterd - Main Forum
Original clutch at 185k miles? That's amazing. Dealer told me I had to replace mine at 75k miles, and I think I drive mostly gently.by boxsterd - Main Forum
Are you saying the 03/04 OEM top with the glass window will fit a 99? How about an 01 like what I have? I've been thinking about replacing the top but I thought my only option for a glass window was GAHH.by boxsterd - Main Forum
