According to traffic on the other P-car boards, the default battery (Molle?) is not that great, and certainly not maintenance free. When I started having troubles with it last year, I popped the covers on it and found the cells almost try. I put water in them, but by then it was too late. It completely died just before I was to leave for Porsches to Ohio, and I missed the event. I replaced itby KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum

Unfortunately, not many states have a "no left lane driving slow" law, including Ohio. A law specifying "no impeding the flow of traffic" probably wouldn't apply if the offender was driving at the posted speed limit.by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum

Mike lives a few miles south of me. It will be about 80 here, and we plan to take a drive as soon as I get off work. Yesterday, I saw three 996s or 997s out and about, which is unusual for this area. Winter is just about over. The birds are returning, the sun comes out once in awhile, and it was 57-degrees here today for a short while. Am hoping to get the car out of storage by the middle of April. Hopefully all the salt will be washed off the roads by then.by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum

Fall is definitely here, but the Blue Box still goes to work every morning, and will until we see snow in my area. Here are a couple pics from last week. The top was down, but with the windows up and the heater on, the drive in was more than manageable. The frost is definitely on the punkin' And the gauges tell you how cool it was at 754AM here in NE Ohio.by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum

In other cars I tend to drive one-handed. In the Boxster, I drive 2-handed, and try to use shuffle-steering, as I was taught in one of the driving schools I attended. High-speed driving requires 2-hands (not that I would ever speed).by KevinR-MedinaOhio - Main Forum

1. The Regional Coordinators' page from Panorama magazine in case you need PCA help (provided you are a member). 2. Large-caliber handgun w/ extra ammo. 3. Windshield cleaner and paper towels to get the bug guts off the windshield and headlights. 4. AAA card 5.
