Please tell me you didn't drive CURVEN8R to/from dealer for the 981 event, did you? You better dump quickly before she starts getting too jealous and acting up.by Burg Boxster - Main Forum

for a '99 E6 fuse does not apply and their is no solenoid in fender (no carbon cannister - intro'd in '00 IIRC) at least in the Boxster but should be same in 996. Instead, issue is tangled fuel lines on fuel sending unit blocking filler neck. There is a TSB for R&R w/ some zip ties... you can find on renntech.org if a contributing member. but they might as well be. Had same issue in my Boxster at one point which I R&R'd w/ nutserts. Mike Focke's site still hosts the DIY I wrote up: Boxsterra may still have the tool I gave him to repair his so you may ask if he can loan it to you. Good luckby Burg Boxster - Main Forum
Nice pix. Looks like attendance has grown nicely last I was there. Glad you had a nice time and thanks for sharing. There's a whole lot of racing heritage between the Porsche triangle of dealerships b/w Chuck Stoddard, Freddie Baker and Bob Nikel. Just hit one of the news aggregate sites and thought I'd share: Click and Clack will finally stop spouting off "helpful" automotive info to great applause from mechanics everywhere (personally I was never one to listen to their drivel...) A well known LA bimbo has, what appears to be, totaled a 991 before most of us have even had a chance to drive one... ('tis better to wreck another man's Poby Burg Boxster - Main Forum
Have you been before? Look forward to your report b/c last time I was there it was more than "light" on newer... and that's when Stoddard still had the franchise. A few nice 356s and lots of 356 parts. Have fun!by Burg Boxster - Events

I can say w/o a doubt the process is definitely easier/simpler in 9x6 series. There are many more hidden screws and layers involved w/ rear console removal in 9x7s than on previous generations. Neither though is overly tasking... just use the nice write up by lithium (if 9x7) or B&M one if 9x6. Take your time w/ disassembly (organizing screws/trim pieces/etc.) and don't force anything. Tail = running light Stop is what you are referring to as brake. FWIW, buy the twin pack and replace opposing side at same time unless you know of some specific reason why this one failed prematurely.by Burg Boxster - Main Forum
I thought your only picture posts w/ meat were of bovine or sweater variety. You've proven you can do the former whilst on road but question is if you can accomplish the latter on your latest smuggling expeditionby Burg Boxster - Main Forum

Just a little rant but holy cr@p those new low-profile, colorless/smoked lens LED bubble gum machines on LEOs are a major problem! Unlit, you can barely see them at all in traffic let alone sneaking in medians behind tall grass, bushes etc. But man when there are lit!!! They're way too bright (no, not me ) and dangerously border on blinding passing drivers - especially during night time! Iby Burg Boxster - Main Forum
QuoteBurg Boxster - Friday, 7 November, 2008, at 5:45:47 pm Had an appointment this AM w/ local dealer to test drive a 997.2 w/ PDK. Original plans called for a Targa 4S but sales mgr swapped in a C2S instead. Reason: Targa 4S didn't have Sport Pkg Plus (w/ launch control) which he insisted is a must try. I swore I'd never consider owning a stickless Porsche but I take it back (caveat below). Simby Burg Boxster - Main Forum
