Frunk/bonnet will not open with inside floor switch. - 10 years ago

I have a 2005 Boxster S. The Frunk or Bonnet will not open with the interior floor switch. However, opens without complications with the key button. What's up?

Replacing Radio? - 10 years ago

I am unable to use my ipod/iphone to play music in my 2005 Boxster S. I have CDR24 Radio so the Discount Car Stereo product BLAU/8.3 aux cable is not compatible. I was thinking about just replacing the radio. However, this changes the aesthetics and I do not want to cause any electrical issues. Input welcome.

Our weekend vehicle is a 2005 Boxster S. I had a Chevy Silverado as a commuter but my 16 yr daughter needed wheels so it is hers. I changed jobs wanted better Fuel economy and finally settled on 2013 Outback. It rides smoother than the Forrester and fuel economy and cargo space is better. Handling not like the Acura 2006 or 2010 MDX we have owned, but cost less, regular instead of premium gas

Thanks for all of the input. After Oil change with another perfect Oil Analysis from Blackstone and taking it to the dealership for a complete check up with no issues I have decided to not get an extended warranty. It will be maintained perfectly and enjoyed to the fullest.

Extended Warranty - 11 years ago

I bought a CPO 2005 Boxster S with 15K miles about 2 years ago. Now I am coming up on the expiration of the warranty. It has 25K miles on it and I'm still making payments but the warranty is about to run out. Suggestions? After market warranties are in the $3500-4000 for 3-5 years. I spoke with the dealership today that suggested forget about an after market warranty.

My friend took a picture of this Bugatti going down the road that morning then it was on the news that the driver was avoiding a bird and drove off into the marsh near Galveston Texas. Till cell video surfaced of the guy driving right off into the marsh "no bird". Later becomes known that insurance fraud is involved. The guy apparently "restores" high end cars.
